ESCA’s commitment to revolutionize engineering practices in the Philippines paved the way for the first ever use of strand-jack technology in the country, lifting the iconic century-old Ayala Bridge to improve the barge traffic beneath it.   

ESCA’s significant contribution on the bridge’s upgrade and rehabilitation also included the use of viscous dampers that will absorb transverse forces and movements during earthquakes, retrofitting of its substructure, real-time traffic study analysis, and construction management services.
